About the Company

Elpro develops, designs, and manufactures electrical cabinets and distribution boards for Swedish and international customers. Since the beginning of 2020, we have been located in a brand new production facility in the Tokebacka Industrial Area along the E20 just outside Alingsås. Here we have over 3000 square meters of assembly space available.

Job Description

As an electrical assembler in our workshop, you will work on projects of varying sizes and be responsible, together with the rest of the team, for the entire assembly of the finished and delivery-ready product. The work is based on drawings and instructions from our own design department or directly from the customer. Using this information, you will assemble your electrical plate and perform the hole drilling of the cabinet. You will then assemble components, label and connect cables, and prepare and participate in testing the product. Packaging and packing for delivery is also part of the job.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for someone with previous work experience as an electrical cabinet assembler. You have an interest in technology, are quick to learn new things, and have a knack for getting things done while maintaining high accuracy and quality. You are open, handy, and not afraid to take on other tasks when needed. You have the right attitude towards work and work well in a team.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Education from the electrical and energy program or equivalent education.
• Experience reading drawings.
• Previous experience in assembly; experience in cabinet construction is a plus.

You will be employed as a consultant at NearYou and assigned to Elpro. In the long term, there may be an opportunity to transition to a permanent position with the customer. Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.
